2025 Central Texas Floods
The Texas Hill Country experienced catastrophic flooding over the 4th of July weekend, with the Guadalupe River rising 35 feet within hours in some areas. The initial Disaster Declaration on July 6, 2025 granted Individual Assistance to Kerr County. Burnet, San Saba, Tom Green, Travis, and Williamson Counties were added on July 10, 2025, and Kimble, McCulloch, and Menard Counties were added to the Individual Assistance Declaration on July 29, 2025. The deadline to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance is September 4, 2025. People who do not live in the 10 declared counties may be eligible for Other Needs Assistance with medical/dental, transportation, funeral, and personal property needs related to the disaster if they were in one of those counties at the time of the disaster.
The 2025 Central Texas Floods Dashboard tracks total applications, eligibility determinations, inspections, self-assessed damage to homes and assistance amount awarded, and applicant demographics.
The dashboard will be updated as FEMA makes data available, until the Individual Assistance application deadline, which is 60 days after the Individual Assistance declaration unless extended by FEMA. FEMA usually updates its data weekly on Saturdays, although there are sometimes delays.
